Life at Oak Hill

Student Committee

The Student Common Room Committee is an elected body of students who are the student representatives at Oak Hill. They are here to serve students and the wider College community.

They have three main responsibilities:

  1. to speak for students, representing all students - male and female, full time and part time, from all backgrounds - to the College in all matters relating to College life. This includes weekly meetings with the College Leadership Team, and termly reviews of the academic feedback.
  2. to serve students, by running and maintaining the Student Common Room, running social events, funding activities such as sports and thinking about how we can contribute to the life of the College.
  3. to support students, by working with those responsible for pastoral care in the College community.
