Practical apologetics
With Dan Strange
Wednesday-Friday, 14-16 July 2010
Contemporary Britain is a place of many gods and idols. In this climate, Christian claims are unfamiliar, even foreign. Many think their own existing beliefs are perfectly adequate, or at least there are none better available. As one song lyric says: "This is my truth, now tell me yours." The Bible tells us to give a reason for the hope we have, but sometimes it is hard to know the right questions to ask, let alone the right answers to give.
This course by Dan Strange, Lecturer in Culture, Religion and Public Theology at Oak Hill, helps us work through ways of approaching and challenging the existing ideas, beliefs and assumptions that people have, meeting them with the truth of the gospel.
Cost and booking Details for these two short courses will be available on the College website in the New Year |
