Philippa Wehrle is an independent student at Oak Hill and works with children and young people. Says Philippa...
Young people and children are growing up in a society that has never been so alien to the gospel. It's a place where the media dictate what we think. It's a place where everything is relative. And yet we've never been so materially well off. I've worked with a lot of young people who are fairly affluent and they try to find their worth, their identity, in the things that they have. They want the latest iPhone, they want the latest fashion. And yet they miss out on Jesus. |
