The MA enables you to study theology at a more advanced level. You can take an even more specialised approach to the different disciplines than is possible in the BA(Hons) programme. The modules help you reflect more closely on the meaning and application of scripture and consider important issues in today's world.
Many of the modules focus on evangelical concerns. However, you do not need to be an evangelical in order to benefit from this programme. We value the participation of those from different traditions and believe that we will learn valuable lessons from each other.
Four taught modules are chosen, including intensive study of biblical books, a focus on specific theological and historical issues, and pastoral studies. You also have the option of writing a 15,000 word dissertation, or the combination of a short dissertation and short project.
The programme is normally taken over two years part-time, but can be completed in one year of full-time study. |
