| Theology and World Mission: programme outline |
 |
The programme builds on the core elements of the main Oak Hill programme and applies these to a cross-cultural mission context. The core component is the four biblical modules, where we aim to give you a comprehensive biblical theology. We also think it is vital for all our students to have a good grasp of systematic theology and church history.
In the specific Theology and World Mission modules, we apply the learning of the core modules to the particular contexts of cross-cultural mission. The DipHE forms the first and second year of the three year BA(Hons) and four year MTh. For more details, and to see how these elements fit together, please order the Cross-cultural Mission Prospectus click here.
As part of their time at college, students will be expected to attend a church which is not British-led. BA(Hons) and MTh students will also participate in an overseas placement.
Three qualifications are on offer:
> DipHE in Theology and World Mission studied over two years full-time.
> BA(Hons) in Theology and World Mission studied over three years full-time.
> MTh in Theology and World Mission studied over four years full-time.
Oak Hill is accredited by Middlesex University to validate its own taught programmes.
Are there part-time options?
Because of the integrated nature of the programme (and our belief that it is good to give concentrated attention to preparation for future ministry), we will not normally be offering a part-time track, except for spouses. We welcome people who want to audit particular modules. |
