Marian is keen to help produce ministers who are well equipped to understand, communicate with, serve and enable real people in real churches. In short, to equip them to fulfil 2 Timothy 4:5.
Her considerable ministerial experience includes an assistant Chaplaincy at Bristol Polytechnic, and more recently as Curate at Christ Church, Beckenham, where she was a member of the ministry team for 14 years. Marian has been widely involved outside the parish. She has written Presenting Everyone Mature (Orthos 21) and A Step Too Far (Latimer Trust), edited Stirrings of the Soul (Good Book Co.) and contributed sections on Joel and Psalms for a one-volume Bible commentary, published by IVP (USA).
Marian is a member of a "large and interesting family", and her interests include pondlife conservation, all small wet creatures, eating and the theatre. |
