Melanie Lacy, MA
Programme Director, Youth and Children's Ministry
Melanie is thrilled to be involved with the formation and training of men and women to serve in the local church to facilitate the passing on of the great truths of God to the next generation. Her vision is to see young people equipped to share their faith with those around them.
Mel has been involved in biblical youth and children's ministry and training for many years. She has had a longstanding involvement in the Keswick Youth Ministry Programme, the Word Alive and New Word Alive Youth Programmes, as well as Soul Truth in Ireland. Mel has served as a deacon in the Church of Ireland, and more recently as a youth minister in St John's, Knutsford, Cheshire. She also enjoyed serving with Crosslinks Mission Agency as the Ireland team leader, in between her periods of service in the local church.
Mel loves to travel, entertain, and spend time with friends, family and her wonderful godchildren. She is now suitably placed to rekindle her love of musicals and all things theatrical. She can occasionally be found getting up to mischief, too!
