Three-quarters of the Christian Bible is the Old Testament. But sometimes when Christians read it, it can feel alien to us.

We read God's Word wanting to meet Jesus, to be fed and strengthened spiritually in him. How does that work when we're reading or studying the Old Testament? These sessions will give some helpful principles and pointers.

This teaching session is delivered in two 45 minute teaching sessions, with opportunities for interactions and questions.

Both dates for this event will cover the same content and do not run in series.

Group discounts are available, please get in touch to find out more.

Revd Tim Ward, MA, PhD - Lecturer in Hermeneutics and Word Ministry

Tim Ward is convinced that the beating heart of all faithful Christian ministry is the proclamation of Jesus Christ, grounded in rich and wise biblical interpretation. There’s more to pastoral ministry than excellent preaching and teaching, but there’s no good ministry without it. He aims to enrich and deepen students' ability to discern God's voice in Scripture, and to lay the crucial foundations for a life-time of excellent preaching and teaching.
