Apologetics II

Learn how to apply your theology to cultural analysis and engagement. We’ll be doing this in light of the history of Western philosophy, and evangelical responses to culture. To engage fully, you should have already studied theology and apologetics.

If you’re participating as an attender, you’ll receive lecture input from a member of our experienced faculty, and take part in discussion (at the discretion of the lecturer). If you’re a creditor, you’ll engage more deeply and consolidate your learning by doing assessments.

Meet the tutor

Dan Strange is College Director at Oak Hill, and lectures in Culture, Religion and Public Theology. His most recent book is Plugged In: Connecting your faith with what you watch, read and play. Tim Keller says: ‘Dan Strange shows us, in the most accessible way I’ve ever seen, how to do Christian cultural analysis. Then he demonstrates... how to redirect people toward Christ as the true fulfilment of their quests and the true answer to their questions.’
