Biblical Studies I

Gain an overview of the Pentateuch, plus a selection of other historical books of the Old Testament, coupled with an in-depth exploration of Genesis chapters 1–12. We’ll also be carrying out an overview of the Gospels, with an in-depth look at Mark’s Gospel.

The Church of England’s Ministry Council had this to say about our standard of biblical teaching in their most recent report (2016) on the College: ‘The standard of teaching in Biblical Studies and Biblical languages is exemplary, probably even world class.’

If you’re participating as an attender, you’ll receive lecture input from a member of our experienced faculty, and take part in discussion (at the discretion of the lecturer). If you’re a creditor, you’ll engage more deeply and consolidate your learning by doing assessments.
