Foundations for Cross-Cultural Mission (DM1.2)

As in the Bible, so in our world, cross-cultural mission is part of God’s Gospel plan.

This module equips students to understand ‘mission’ in relation to ecclesiology and larger trends in missiology, especially as this relates to the practicalities of mission ‘sending’ and ‘receiving’.

This module is suitable both for those thinking of 'going' overseas to serve and those 'staying' in their home country to send and support. Prior knowledge is useful but not essential as we start from first principles in defining 'mission’, connecting mission firmly to church and examining recent mission trends.
