Studies in Old Testament Literature (BL2.4)

This module aims to dig deeply into the background, structure, contents, purpose and theology of selected texts within the Old Testament.

Students will engage exegetically and hermeneutically with set texts and will consider how to interact wisely and charitably with commentaries and other secondary literature in order to connect the scriptures to Christian life and ministry.
