Oak Hill College is a theological college which serves the church of Jesus Christ by equipping men and women for a lifetime of ministry in a diverse and changing world.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Academic Administration team as an Assistant Academic Registrar in a permanent role based in North London. The Opportunity

We are looking for an outstanding individual to become our next Assistant Academic Registrar. You will provide registrarial support and administration for the College’s academic provision to both students and staff, by way of:  

  • Academic regulations
  • Student programme administration and data management
  • Managing the college’s assessment process
  • Acting as the college’s disabilities officer – helping students get the support they need

You will be an enthusiastic individual who has a desire to deliver a first-class registrarial administration and customer service experience to our students. You may have a proven track record in the higher education sector or similar environment. As someone with a keen eye for detail you will have the ability to work systematically whilst continuing to improve our offering.

At Oak Hill College you will be working with the immensely supportive Academic Admin team who will give you all the training you need and continue to develop you.

About Us

Oak Hill College is a theological college based in a picturesque setting in North London which aims to help prepare students for Christian ministry. Founded in 1932 by Charles Baring Young, a deeply-committed educationalist and philanthropist, the College offers courses from Level 4 (CertHE) to Level 7 (Postgraduate). It is a Validated Partner of Middlesex University, with whom it has been in collaborative partnership since 1992 and who validates the College’s academic provision,, and its programmes offer vocational training for a range of ministries in Anglican and Independent churches in the UK and overseas. The role will be based in the original manor house on site which is located alongside an impressive range of facilities and accommodation in around 60 acres of gardens and parkland.

Hours

Full Time – 35 hrs per week, 52 weeks per annum. Some overtime will be required in busy times of the year, but of course you will be able to take time-off in lieu. You will be given 24 days holidays plus statutory bank holidays.

There is opportunity for hybrid working within this role, please discuss your preference with us. Your work/life balance is important to us. Free on-site parking is provided when you work from College, and an excellent free lunch during term time.

Salary

£32,000 to £36,000 – depending on experience, with a generous matched pension scheme. We also have a life assurance scheme.
