Oak Hill at Christian Resources Exhibition 2019

What do you think of when you hear the words ‘Oak Hill’?

That’s the question we asked people at the National Christian Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park, Surrey, in October 2019.  61% of people knew that we were a theological college; 26% of people did not know who we were (they do now); a few people confused us with Oak Hall holidays.

We had some conversations with people interested in studying full time and part time as an undergraduate and postgraduate; we had some conversations about Equip, our new series of Flexible Learning events; we had some conversations catching up with news from Old Oaks.

It was interesting being in the Studyzone with four other theological colleges.  We were able to find out more about them and discuss a variety of relevant issues.  We also had an opportunity to speak at a CREdtalk (see what they did there?) on thinking theologically about evangelism.

It was encouraging to hear lots of positive experiences from people trained at Oak Hill and people benefitting from those trained at Oak Hill.  It reminded us again of the importance and size of our mission to equip people for ministry in the real world.

How could you help us do this?
