The summer edition of Commentary, our twice-yearly magazine exploring cultural, ethical and theological issues in the light of biblical teaching, is now out.
This edition has a strong focus on engaging biblically in whatever cultural context God has placed us, and includes features on the advent of artifical intelligence; an experience of teaching the Old Testament in Japan; how generous hospitality is often treated as an option extra of the Christian life; and the problem of happiness in the modern world. Plus book reviews by Chris Green and actual commentary on a biblical passage by David Shaw.
Also featured is an interview with Dan Strange about his new book, Plugged In, which is all about ‘connecting your faith with what you watch, read and play’. Dan talks about the theological background to the book, and how Christians and churches can use it as they navigate today’s culture.
