We’re looking forward to welcoming James KA Smith to Oak Hill on Friday morning, 30 November 2018, to discuss his new book, Awaiting the King.
The relationship between the church and the public square has never been more contested. Awaiting the King offers a public theology which explores the religious nature of politics and the political nature of Christian worship. James explains the content of the book in this YouTube video.
James KA Smith is Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan. An award-winning author and widely-travelled speaker, he has emerged as a thought leader with a unique gift of translation, building bridges between the academy, society and the church.
This morning event at Oak Hill is open to pastors, church leaders and anyone interested in the relationship between church and culture. This event is free of charge, but booking is required.
