Engagement with Children’s Youth and Family Ministry

Short Course

What place should children and young people have in the life of the church? How do we reach, disciple children and young people and include them amongst God's people?

This module moves from understanding to engagement.

‍Students will evaluate various historical and contemporary models for such ministry and reflect upon their own ‘inherited’ patterns of practice with a view to gaining practical, biblical and theological strategies for engaging effectively with children, youth and families in church, school and community contexts.

This module will begin to generously listen to other models of ministry to learn how they can critique, inform and improve our work with young people, children and families."
