Chapel is at the heart of life at Oak Hill. It offers an opportunity to turn our theology into doxology. For half an hour each day, we turn aside from the business of the diary to lift our gaze from time to eternity, to look back to the cross, to sing, to hear God’s word, to give thanks together, and to pray for the spread of the gospel, the life of the college, and for grace for God’s people near at hand and further away.
There is a weekly rhythm to our meetings, reflecting the range of backgrounds and cultures in which students have been raised, and the variety of churches and contexts in which they will eventually serve. The services alternate between Anglican and Independent forms of worship.
