Biblical Studies II (New Testament)

Programme module

In the New Testament, God has revealed himself definitively in Jesus Christ and has done so primarily by means of narrative (Gospels and Acts) and epistles. This module focuses students on close readings of representative New Testament texts and tools for understanding their meaning.

The New Testament is the obvious crux for biblical theology, Christian ethics, evangelism, and the growth of God's kingdom. This module establishes firm foundations in understanding key and representative New Testament books: Mark's Gospel, Acts, Galatians and James. It shapes for learners how scholarship and ministry productively combine for effective discipleship and capable church life."
