Introduction to Biblical Hebrew

God revealed his Old Testament Word primarily in Hebrew. This module equips students with the basic language skills (vocabulary, grammar and syntax) necessary for beginning to engage with the Hebrew Old Testament. Students work through Gary Pratico and Miles Van Pelt’s Basics of Biblical Hebrew: Grammar and Workbook over the course of two semesters.

First year Hebrew will help you understand the whole Bible better: but it will also help you "hear" the music of the Scriptures and see the gracious God at its center more vividly. The discipline of studying Hebrew also helps build spiritual muscle for long-term endurance in ministry.”
