- Optional for DipHE and BA (Hons) Theology. If this module is taken for credit at BA (Hons) Level, then module BL5.1 may not be credited at Master's Level
The General Epistles (e.g. Hebrews, 1-2 Peter, Jude) employ some of the most elegant and complex Greek of all the New Testament writings. They also make unique contributions to our understanding of the Gospel, the church and the Christian life. In this module students gain further, in-depth practice with Greek grammar, syntax and other exegetical skills as they study select whole books with a view towards integrating exegesis, theological and pastoral reflection.
