In a way unique among the Gospels, John holds out Jesus Christ as the object of faith and the source of eternal life. The Johannine Epistles continue to apply this Gospel of Christ to the early churches. In this module students have the opportunity to engage deeply with these Johannine texts in order to grow as competent interpreters and effective communicators of the theological truth they hold out to us.
