Doctrine of God

Behind every pastoral encounter lies our doctrine of God. This module provides students with an in-depth exploration of the doctrines of classical theism and Trinitarian theology. Close engagement with biblical and primary historical texts and other readings is designed to lead students to grow in their love and worship of the Triune God and to equip them for the pastoral and doxological demands of Christian life and ministry.

A theological giant of the church once said 'if knowledge of God is eternal life, we tend toward living inasmuch as we advance in this knowledge.' On this course, we take some tentative steps into the study of the One who surpasses comprehension, to deepen our own sense of joy in him as well as consider how to speak to others of his triune glory.”
