DM2.5

Place & Season, Others & Self

Programme module

We all dwell in space and time and discover our identity and ministries in relationships with others. In this module students are equipped with a theological and sociological framework for growing to understand themselves and others as positioned in place and in season of life so that they might have a richer and more effective ministry.

Our society is more and more conscious of the connections and divisions that run through it. This module explores how gender, race and class are understood biblically and lived out in community within churches and society. It invites learners to engage with their own identities, and those of others. 'All one in Christ Jesus', but diverse unity and unified diversity - what does that look like, and how do we grow in the graft and craft of such living in real lives, in our times and in our places? If those questions interest you, this module is for you."
