Personal ministry skills such as listening, attending to process and the ability wisely to apply the Bible to people are essential for pastoral ministry. This module develops an approach to biblical counselling, conversational ministry, and safeguarding concerns and offers students opportunities to practice their skills in extended, structured conversations.

God intends conversation between Christians to mature us in Christ. This module explores biblical counselling and what is distinctive about this kind of conversation, and equips us to grow the skills of excellent listening and meaningful communication of relevant truth that addresses the heart."
