Anglican Ministry or Independent Ministry

MP2.3 Anglican Ministry:

Preparation for ministry in the Church of England requires a knowledge of the history, theology and practice of corporate worship, an awareness and engagement with different views and practices, and growth in leadership skills and godliness. This module leads students toward a generous yet critical and convictional evaluation of models for parish life and ministry. Students begin to move from principles to practice in the rhythms and complexities of parish life and leadership.

MP2.4 Independent Ministry:

Preparation for ministry in Independent or Presbyterian churches requires a knowledge of the history, theology and practice of corporate worship, an awareness and engagement with different views and practices, and growth in leadership skills and godliness. This module leads students toward a generous yet critical and convictional evaluation of models for church life and ministry. Students begin to move from principles to practice in the rhythms and complexities of church life and leadership.

We need pastors who have clear convictions as to what the church is and how it is to be led."
