BA (Hons)-Level Short Dissertation OR BA (Hons)-Level Short Project

RD4.1 BA (Hons)-Level Short Dissertation:

With support from the research supervisor, a student preparing a short dissertation has the opportunity to explore an area of specific interest not covered elsewhere in their programme or to pursue in greater depth an issue raised elsewhere. The short dissertation requires developing skills in research planning, critical engagement with primary or secondary materials and clarity in argumentation and the application of knowledge.

RD4.2 BA (Hons)-Level Short Project:

With support from the research supervisor, a student preparing a short project has the opportunity to explore an area of specific interest not covered elsewhere in their programme or to pursue in greater depth an issue raised elsewhere. The short project develops skills distinct to those involved in a dissertation. The project may take a wide range of forms (e.g. Bible studies for 7 year olds,interactive apologetics videos, etc., all with appropriate commentary and methodology). A short project requires developing skills in research planning, critical engagement with primary or secondary materials and clarity in argumentation and the application of knowledge.
