Before coming to Oak Hill College Andrew served as Curate in Trinity Church, Henley-on-Thames and Junior Research Fellow at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford while completing a DPhil in New Testament. His doctoral research centred on the interpretation and reception of purported ‘hymnic texts’ in the New Testament.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Andrew initially read Theology at Cambridge University and served in various ministry roles in London before training for ordained ministry in the Church of England in Oxford.

Andrew is married to Heather, and together they are kept busy by three children and a dog. They are active members of a local church, and are passionate about biblical and joyful church music. Andrew’s hobbies include guitar, coffee roasting, and book-binding.
