Our core undergraduate programmes give you a broad and deep understanding of Christian theology applied for ministry and mission.
Each of our courses can be taken either full-time or part-time.
All programmes are validated by Durham University as part of the Common Awards Scheme.
A CertHE (Certificate of Higher Education) is typically equivalent to the first year of a bachelor's degree, while a DipHE (Diploma of Higher Education) represents the first two years. These qualifications can all be taken as standalone courses or used as stepping stones towards a BA Hons (Bachelor of Arts with Honours) degree, which is a complete undergraduate program.
Successfully completing a CertHE or DipHE earns you credits that count towards a BA (Hons), meaning you progress through the levels rather than starting each course from scratch. While you can build your qualifications incrementally, many students choose to enroll directly in a full BA (Hons) program.
1 year full time, or 2 years part time
The CertHE provides a strong foundation for theological study and spiritual growth.
2 years full time, or 4 years part time
Students who successfully complete the CertHE can move onto the DipHE.
3 years full time, or 6 years part time
Students who successfully complete the DipHE can move onto the BA (Hons).
