Tim Ward is convinced that the faithful proclamation of Jesus Christ, grounded in rich and wise biblical interpretation and in loving pastoral relationships, is crucial to Christian ministry. He aims to enrich and deepen students' ability to discern God's voice in Scripture, and to lay crucial foundations for a life-time of excellent preaching and teaching.

Tim is an Oak Hill graduate. Before coming back to Oak Hill as a, he taught at the Proclamation Trust’s Cornhill Training Course. Prior to that he served in pastoral ministry for 14 years.

He is married to Erica and they have an adult son. He is an active member of a nearby church, serving in a variety of ways including preaching and small group ministry. In his free time Tim enjoys running and watching football.
