Why come to an Open Morning?

Whatever stage you're at - just dipping a toe, starting to explore, or committed to finding some training - or you're a church leader wanting to find out more about what goes on here - we'd love you to come to an Open Morning so we can share our vision for training, introduce you to some students, and give you a flavour of life at Oak Hill. Our Open Mornings are designed to help you think about the importance of theological training for ministry and to discover how we prepare people for the broad and deep demands of ministry.

When are the Open Mornings?

We have now passed our published closing dates for applying for September 2023 entry. However, if you are still thinking about starting this September please contact us straightaway to discuss your situation.

If you're thinking about September 2024 entry or beyond, we’d love to welcome you to one of our Open Mornings during 2023/24, either in person or on Zoom. The dates of the next Open Mornings are as follows:

• Saturday 2 December 2023 - in person
• Saturday 24 February 2024 - in person
• Saturday 23 March 2024 - on Zoom
• Saturday 27 April 2024 - in person

Our in-person Open Mornings run from 9.30am to approximately 2.30pm. Zoom Open Mornings run from 9.45am to approximately 12.30pm.

What happens at an Open Morning?

We’ll look at the nature of Christian ministry, and how best to train for that. You’ll hear about our ethos and programmes and get a feel for how our community life and learning fit together. There'll be opportunity to hear from faculty and students and to ask your questions, as well as chance to chat informally. There'll be a taste of the classroom and a taste of chapel. And you'll also be able to talk with a member of the Admissions team about your own situation.
